ACCPD investigating homicide at Rolling Ridge apartments

Athens-Clarke County police were investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday night at the Rolling Ridge apartment complex off Kathwood Drive.

Deputy Police Chief Jeff Clark said the shooting was being investigated as a homicide.

He said the victim was a male and that police were searching for the alleged shooter.

Clark said he was unaware of the victim’s age or identity, and that additional information would be released Wednesday morning.
