Gainesville woman arrested in possession of meth, for punching cars and threatening witnesses

were dispatched to a disorderly person on Prince Avenue, and several witnesses reported seeing 52-year-old Stacy Howell Cozart punching car windows and threatening to run over witnesses.

Upon arrival, officers located Cozart and a vehicle that belonged to her, but lacked valid registration and was blocking traffic in the roadway, while blocking the entrance to 1282 Prince Ave.

Witnesses told officers that Cozart punched the windows of several cars and threated to run people over.

The officers placed the Gainsville woman under arrest for disorderly conduct, and during a subsequent search, the officers found that Cozatt was in possession of methamphetamine.

It’s terrible what using drugs has done to people and to see how utterly selfish they have become. Maybe someday she will realize this fact and stop all this insanity.
