A player on the University of Georgia football team was arrested in Athens early Sunday morning for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Trevor Curtis Etienne, 20, was booked into the county jail at 4:35 a.m. on charges of DUI alcohol less safe, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and visibility restricted by items affixed to windshield,
He was released at 5:27 a.m. upon posting bonds totaling $2,493.
The Georgia football program has not officially commented on the matter.
Georgia brought Etienne into the program via the transfer portal. He had spent the previous two seasons at Florida.
He is expected to be the leading Bulldogs running back.
I bet he has enough NIL money to get over this road-bump.
I hope it does not affect his football major studies.
How long do we have to put up with these "athletes" as a symbol of the educational prowess of our university? How about we consider concentrating on academics and dump the pro sports? You'll note I'm not listing my address because I don't want my house burned down for espousing heresy.
No way. I don’t believe this. He’s probably an athletic assistant. 😉
