The Clarke County Sheriff's Office announced that Sgt. Arthur Booker has earned his 10-year service pin.
The pin was presented to the deputy by Sheriff Ira Edwards Jr. on Thursday, during a ceremony at the Athens-Clarke County Jail.
"We thank Sergeant Booker for his dedication, hard work, and care while serving the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government and the citizens of Athens-Clarke County," Edwards said in a prepared statement that was released after the ceremony.
