A 46-year-old Walton County man is facing several charges after he was arrested Monday for allegedly sexually exploiting a child, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Monroe resident Charles DeLorenzo was arrested as part of an ongoing effort by the GBI’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. An investigation began after information was received from the FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that DeLorenzo possibly uploaded pornographic images of children to a cloud-based storage application, the GBI said. The investigation determined that DeLorenzo in fact was in possession of child pornography, according to the state law enforcement agency.
He was booked into the Walton County Jail on four counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
He was being held at the jail in lieu of bonds totaling $80,000.
Anyone with information about this case or any other cases of child exploitation is asked to contact the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit at (404) 270-8870.
