My name is Andrew King and I'm a photographer in the Athens area. I was born in North Carolina and lived there until I was about 14, when my family and I moved to Georgia (all my family is from this part of Georgia). I graduated from Prince Avenue Christian School in 2007.
After graduation I worked a few different jobs before joining Army in 2008, where I would serve as an infantryman for 8 years, deploying to Afghanistan twice in the fight against terrorism.
While deployed I found a passion for photography and capturing the immense beauty of God's creation and preserving it for generations to come.
My photography name 'FILO' comes from the moto we had in my unit "First In, Last Out".
