Stepping into Peking Restaurant might give you a blast from the past with its retro charm. Don't let the modest exterior fool you; the food here is a revelation. The Peking duck is succulent and perfectly roasted, while the fish-flavored shredded pork offers a delightful mix of sweet and savory. A standout for me was the hot and sour soup, which was just the right blend of spicy and tangy, making it a must-try in Athens.
The menu is packed with flavors that cater to all tastes. The orange chicken, with its unique presentation and crunchy texture, was a hit, especially with the added cherries that gave it a sweet twist. The Bourbon chicken, drenched in a delicious sauce and accompanied by perfectly soaked onions, and the flavor-packed Mongolian beef were my personal favorites. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is top-notch, making you feel right at home.
Every dish served was a testament to the culinary skills of the chefs. From the perfectly balanced flavors to the generous portions, dining here was an experience to remember. The plum wine, sweet and luscious, was the perfect end to our meal. Peking Restaurant is a gem that keeps you coming back for more, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Since the late 1979 Peking Restaurant has been a local favorite serving Mandarin cuisine. It has expanded to include Chinese/Korean choices, as well as a traditional Chinese menu composed of Szechuan cuisine.
I got food from there last September and it was disgusting. I threw it away.
No offense, but an honest review should include a byline.
