Police drama at Rolling Ridge Apartments in Athens

One person was shot, unknown what their condition is or if any arrests were made.

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department has not responded to requests from Classic City News for information.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Police officers with their guns drawn this Thursday evening have surrounded a building at Rolling Ridge Apartments.

Observers at the scene report that some of the officers are dressed in tactical gear and are armed with automatic rifles.
