A second teen has been arrested for an exchange of gunfire last month at the Athens Gardens apartment complex.
Rontravious Leon Farley, 19, was arrested Wednesday on three counts of aggravated assault for the incident.
According to Athens-Clarke County police, Farley was one of several males who traded gunfire with 17-year-old Bredarius Davis, after an apartment Davis was in was shot at early the morning of Dec. 13.
Davis was arrested several days after the incident and was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, and one count of tampering with evidence.
“Detectives determined that Davis discharged a firearm at several individuals and subsequently removed physical evidence from the scene to prevent law enforcement from locating and collecting it,"said ACCPD spokesman Lt. Shaun Barnett, who said investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting.
However, Barnett said that “No gang charges have been made at this time.”
Oh you wacky teenagers!
