While you were sitting on the beach this summer, did you manage to read all your new books? Refresh your collection at the Friends of Athens-Clarke County Library Fall Book Sale!
The Friends will host their semi-annual sale beginning Wednesday, Oct. 2, through Saturday, Oct. 5, in the Athens-Clarke County Library’s multipurpose rooms. The sale will feature thousands of gently used books, including fiction, non-fiction, children’s books, hardbacks, paperbacks, audio books, CDs and more.
The sale will begin with a Friends-only preview sale from 2-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Shoppers can purchase a Friends membership at the door of the sale for $25 and then get first pick at the sale!
The sale will be open to the public from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, then from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, and Saturday, Oct. 5. Saturday is Bag Day, when shoppers can fill a grocery bag for just $10. The Friends provide the bags!
