Your science fact of the day: Triton is extremely cold

Triton, Neptune’s largest moon, has an icy surface. It reflects so much of the small amount of sunlight that reaches it that the moon is one of the coldest objects in the entire solar system.

How cold? It has a temperature of roughly -400 degrees Fahrenheit (that’s -240 degrees Celsius).
