Athens resident Camden Howard had his photo featured on the jumbotron in NYC’s Times Square on Saturday as part of Down Syndrome Awareness Month.
Howard, 7, is a second-grader at H.B. Stroud Elementary School and participates in activities with Extra Special People, an Athens area nonprofit that helps people with special needs by providing programs, family support and community involvement.
