Athens-Clarke County police reportedly are investigating a man’s claim that his girlfriend’s daughter had been having sex with him for money.
According to a police incident report, the investigation began after information came to light on Monday, when the 32-year-old daughter called 911 to report the boyfriend, also 32, attempted to rape her.
(The man) states that his girlfriend is REDACTED, “who is the alleged victim’s) mother, "a responding officer wrote in the report. “He states that on this date he offered REDACTED $150 to have sex and she accepted.
They reportedly had been having a sex-for-money relationship for some time.
The woman reportedly demanded the $150 prior to any physical contact and (the man) stated that he did not have the money right then.
“(The man) states that REDACTED then became angry and left the room, and later called her mother and police,” the officer reported.
Police did not locate any evidence to support the woman’s allegations, but the matter remained under investigation, according to Lt. Shaun Barnett, ACCPD’s public information officer.
