Athens-Clarke County police on Wednesday were investigating the death of a person whose body was found off of Athena Drive, Lt. John Radford confirmed to Classic City News.
Other than to say the decomposed body was found by a paving or construction crew, Radford had no further information to release.
"The death investigation is ongoing," the officer said.
