Medicare Information Session at Athens-Clarke County Library

The Athens-Clarke County Library and Athens Community Council on Aging will present a Medicare information session at the library on Thursday, April 27, at 11:00 am.

Confused about Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans and not sure where to get unbiased factual information? The State Health Information Program (SHIP, formerly GeorgiaCares) Coordinator from the Athens Community Council on Aging will present information and answer questions about Medicare and the new Senior SNAP initiative.

Learn about Medicare enrollment, savings programs, prescription drug plans, SNAP enrollment and how to maximize your monthly Medicare benefits. Certified SHIP counselors will be on site to help with specific problems or applications.
