An Athens man was injured Wednesday morning when his bicycle was struck by a car at North Avenue and Willow Street.
Athens-Clarke County police said the collision happened at about 7:48 a.m. when the 41-year-old cyclist rode through a red light.
He was transported to the hospital with a leg injuiry, police said, and was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
If you want us to "share the road" you have to obey all the same laws we do.
Truth is if you are riding your bike in the road when there is a perfectly good sidewalk you can use you are retarded. Literally retarded.
Blame the street!
