Providing fare-free transit for seniors and individuals with disabilities is a great step toward accessibility in Athens-Clarke County. Accessible transportation helps people stay connected to essential services, work, and social opportunities. Resources like OPWDD front door in Queens also support individuals with developmental disabilities by guiding them toward crucial services. Gateway plays a vital role in offering specialized programs, advocacy, and mental health support to help individuals lead more independent lives.
