Began riding motorcycles at 14. Rode for many many years. Raced them a bit also.

Been on the ground many times and it hurts more than you can imagine.

A top level helmet saved my life.

As I aged I stopped riding and sold my bikes when my reflexes were not up to the task.

To all my fellow riders (scooters included) ...please, please wear a top notch helmet . $450 is nothing compared to a life of brain damage.

Don't wear these novelty helmet. They are practically worthless. Yes, it is your choice and I respect that, but make a wise choice.

Wear a top notch helmet.

Good shoes / boots you will probably break an ankle without protection.

Replying to

I rode too and was told when I started, "If you have a $20.00 head, where a $20.00 helmet." Yes, helmets are a very important.
