Winterville special election on Sunday alcohol sales by the drink scheduled for March

A Special Election has been scheduled for March in Winterville to determine whether to authorize Sunday sales of distilled spirits or alcoholic beverages by the drink.

Ballots can be cast at the regular polling place for the city, which is the Winterville Community Center, from 7 a.m. to 7p.m. on March 12.

Advance voting will be conducted in accordance with applicable law, beginning on Monday Feb. 19 and ending on Friday March 8.
