The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is asking for the public’s help with locating a man who has been reported missing.
Seth Stephen Evans, 27, was last seen at 9:13 p.m. Tuesday at Lowes on Lexington Road.
A woman who identified herself as Evans’ girlfriend posted on his Facebook page that Evans had not had contact with anyone since midnight that day.
The post stated that Evans was possibly wearing a blue puffy jacket with an orange liner, and black and white tennis shoes.
Police said that the man’s employer reported that Evans had not shown up for work on Wednesday.
Local police said they have requested the assistance of other law enforcement agencies to assist in the search for Evans.
