Attorney General Chris Carr will host a panel discussion with UGA students today at 2 p.m. at the Tate Theatre in Athens to raise awareness of the dangers of fentanyl. The event will feature remarks from law enforcement and parents who have been tragically impacted by the fentanyl crisis.
WHO: Carr will be joined by UGA President Jere Morehead, Mike O’Kelley and Angela King O’Kelley of The Jack O’Kelley Foundation, former DEA Narcotics Investigator Doug Treasurer of the Atlanta-Carolinas High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Program, UGA Interfraternity Council President Alec Stephens, and other UGA students.
