Athens bus terminal to be used as warming station tonight

Issued this morning by Athens-Clarke County

Tonight! 5pm tonight until 9am tomorrow morning, ACC Multimodal Transportation Center will be open as a warming station. The station will have donated items such as winter weather apparel/blankets, hot hands, and warm coffee - not to mention the smiling faces of our wonderful volunteers. Available for anyone who needs some time to escape the cold.

Please note, this facility is not intended to serve as an overnight sleeping shelter
