Tre Almonte Foster was killed at the Clarke Gardens apartment complex last weekend when he was shot in the back.
According to police, the 33-year-old Martin Court resident was fighting with Kendrick Jaheim Faust shortly after midnight Sunday when Faust pumped three bullets into him.
Officers arrived at the scene to find Foster lying face down in the parking lot and still breathing. They rendered emergency first aid before the victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he died.
Faust had driven away from the complex but he was arrested the following day on charges of malice murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The 25-year-old Park Ridge Court resident is being held without bail.
