Athens-Clarke County police said they were investigating a robbery that occurred on the outskirts of downtown early Saturday morning.
The robbery occurred around the 300 block of Oconee Street, according to police. That would place the incident in the general vicinity of The Mark Athens apartments and Steeplechase Apartments.
Police publicly released an image of the suspect that was recorded by a surveillance camera with the hopes someone can identify him.
Additional information about the incident was not immediately available from police Saturday afternoon.

The police department issued a media release that reminded citizens to always be aware of their surroundings, stay together in groups, and report suspicious activity by calling 911.
