In light of the recent renovations at Beechwood Plaza, I found it very interesting to see the shopping center as it appeared in 1964, just a few years after its grand opening.
I thought that you also might like to see it, so tap the play button and enjoy:
Many of the frames show people craning their necks to look at an airplane flying over the shopping center and children running around.
Does anyone know what that was about?
I thought it might be a promotional gimmick with the airplane’s pilot dropping goodies into the crowd.
