Death of Madison County Detention Center appears to have been from medical issues

Released today by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office:

                                                                                                   Re:Inmate Death on 07-10-2025 

  ​​​​​Preliminary autopsy results for Tina Patton, who was found unresponsive in her cell, indicate the death was due to a medical event. There were several pre-existing medical conditions that contributed to this in custody death. As a precaution toxicology tests were ordered and the results are pending. ​​​​​​​​​​​
