Dead body found outside UGA fraternity house

Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered last weekend outside of a University of Georgia fraternity house.
Darroll Jay Clavier, 36, was found dead Sunday afternoon on the side patio of the Sigms Chi house on Foundry Street.
According to police, he was face down in a fetal position with blood coming out of his mouth. It was noted that lividity had set in.
Clavier’s identity was determined from contents of his wallet.
A police report listed as his address the Advantage Homeless Day Service Center in North Avenue.
“Detectives are reveiwing the case and do not see anything suspicious at this time,” said police Lt. Katie Jenkins. “An autopsy will be preformed on Mr. Clavier.”
