Landmark Properties raises money for Athens Area Habitat for Humanity

Landmark Properties has released the following:

Athens, Ga. (Oct. 7, 2025) — Landmark Properties, a fully-integrated real estate firm specializing in the development, construction, acquisition, investment management, and operation of high-quality residential communities, is proud to announce a record-breaking $150,000 donation raised during its Fourth Annual Building Hope Through Homes Invitational golf tournament. 

Hosted at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia, the 2025 invitational brought together more than 250 golfers and 45 corporate sponsors for a day of friendly competition and community impact.  

This year’s proceeds mark the highest in tournament’s history, with $140,000 benefitingAthens Area Habitat for Humanity and supporting the construction of new homes in the Micah’s Creek community. 

"We are extremely grateful to Landmark Properties, our largest corporate donor, whose generosity builds houses at Micah’s Creek, our development located less than a mile from their Athens office,” said Charles Smith, Vice President of Operations for Athens Area Habitat for Humanity.  “This annual gift changes the trajectory for our families, and we truly appreciate Landmark joining us to address the housing crisis in our community!" 

With this donation, over the past four years, Landmark’s Building Hope Through Homes Invitational has raised a total of $390,000 for Athens Area Habitat for Humanity, reinforcing Landmark’s ongoing commitment to helping provide affordable housing solutions in its local community. 

This year, Landmark also donated its day-of-event proceeds of $10,000 to Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, broadening the impact of Landmark’s philanthropic support throughout Georgia.
