Man reported being assaulted by UGA frat boys

A 51-year-old Dearing Street resident reported that while he was walking his dog the night of September 5th on South Finley Street he came across three young men who identified themselves as members of the Chi Phi fraternity who mocked him for the way he called to his dog and threw small rocks, some of which grazed him.

A police report labeled the incident as a simple battery.
