Murder in Winder

The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office this morning released the following:

MULTIPLE SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY

FOLLOWING MURDER OF GREENE COUNTY

MAN

(Winder) – Barrow County deputies responded to 1419 Red Oak Way in Winder on Monday, April 13th at approximately 2:10 pm to a report of robbery and assault. Upon their arrival, deputies located the unconscious victim, Casey Lotrail Watts, 40, of White Plains, Georgia.

Deputies immediately began performing CPR, and the victim was transported to an area hospital

where he was pronounced deceased.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the original incident occurred at

1651 White Oak Way in Winder. The following individuals were arrested at the scene:

• Shurita Lashay Davis, 34, Winder, GA.

• Ezion Tymere Edwards, 19, Winder, GA.

• Robert John Arnold, 20, Winder, GA.

• Michavius Luis Mayweather, 20, Winder, GA.

• Antrevion Gary-Hill, 17, Winder, GA.

• Jamarion Floyd Lewis, 21, Winder, GA.

All suspects are currently being held in the Barrow County Detention Center. Each suspect has

been charged with one count of each of the following:

• Murder

• Aggravated Assault

• Party to a Crime
