Armed felon arrested when found asleep on motorcycle

Jacob Randall Russell, 38, of Covington was arrested lthe night of August 9th after being found asleep on his Harley-Davidson at RaceTrac on Atlanta Highway.

The biker waa sleeping on his Harley Super Glide parked at the gas pumps when police woke him up at about 11 p.m.

He was arrested after being found in possession of marijuana, meth, cocaine and a pistol that he wasn’t allowed to have because of a felony drug conviction in Gwinnett County.

He is being held at the local jail, where Walton County authorities have placed a hold on his release because of a felony probation violation.
