UGA student dead in apparent suicide

A University of Georgia grad student was found dead in his westside apartment last week, the victim of an apparent suicide.

Police making a welfare check found him slumped over in a chair with a revolver in one hand and a guitar in the other.

Detectives collected the gun and other items as evidence for their investigation,
