UGA student seriously injured in fall from apartment window

A University of Georgia student has been

hospitalized with severe injuries Saturday night after she fell from an 8th floor window at The Rambler apartments on West Broad Street.

“The student was dancing on a couch near a window that was open,” said Athens-Clarke County police Lt. Katie Jenkins. “She fell and landed on the pool deck. At this time, she llis conscious and alert but seriously injured.”
