Woman arrested for stabbing partner

Brodia Demonta Williams was arrested on the afternoon of October 29th after polic say she stabbed her partner in their apartment on The Preserve Drive.
The 32-year-old victim reported from her SUV on West Broad Street that she has been stabbed by someone at a car wash.
Responding officers found her holding a towel on a bleeding puncture wound on her thigh. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance and later released,
Details the victim gave about the stabbing did not add up and a review of car wash security camera footage did not find any evidence of an assault.
About four hours later police conducted a welfare check at the victim’s apartment after a neighbor reported having heard seen the victim limping away following a heated argument with her partner.
Officers arrived to find a blood trail from her apartment to the parking lot.
Management provided a key for the apartment and inside officers found Williams and the victim, who was holding a baby.
They identified Williams as the victim’s wife and arrested her after she refused to answer questions.
After taking Williams to the jail, police obtained a search warrant for the apartment and they found blood on a the floor and a wall, along with the victim’s bloody clothing in the laundry room.
Williams was released from jail two days later on bail that is conditional on her staying away the apartment. A judge named an intermediary for making arrangements for visitation with the child,
