Woman pleads guilty to embezzling thousands from upscale Bulldog RV park

A woman who had been treasurer for an upscale RV park for Georgia football tailgaters has pleaded guilty to embezzling $25, 000.
Susan Butler guilty to one count of felony theft by conversion and was sentenced to 36 months of probation.

The 69-year-old Jonesboro resident had been arrested in 2023 after an audit determined she might have stolen as much as $300,00O from the owners of the 18-acre Bulldog RV Park located off Hancock Industrial Way.
At the time, Butler was a member of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners.
Her guilty plea and sentencing are the result of a negotiated agreement with the district attorney’s office,
