Released by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office:

20 arrests last Thursday! The Sheriff's Office, along with partner agencies listed below, conducted a round up of people with outstanding arrest warrants during the day hours. In the evening, units concentrated crime suppression efforts through traffic enforcement. A summary of the results:

- Over 1 pound of meth (street value over $37K)

- 15 grams of Fentanyl ($2k+)

- 1 thousand grams of marijuana ($20k+)

- 3 guns seized from convicted felons including a sawed off shotgun.

Some charges include Trafficking Methamphetamines, Trafficking Fentynal, multiple DUIs, several probation violations and other traffic related charges. A big thank you to Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO), Georgia State Patrol, Banks County Sheriff’s Office, Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, Auburn Police Department, Department of Community Supervision-Winder, and our hard working JCSO deputies.
