Southwest Virginia based alt-country outfit 49 Winchester will be performing at Southern Brewing Company on Thursday, May 5th with support from The Maggie Valley Band.

Erupting on the scene with their distinctly soulful Appalachian sound and commanding presence both on and off stage, the group is slated to deliver a hair-raising live set in support of their forthcoming label debut, Fortune Favors the Bold arriving via New West Records on May 13. Just shy of the release, the group is packing concert halls across the country and has already seen coveted appearances at SXSW, Willie Nelson’s 10th annual Luck Reunion and more. This summer will see a heavy touring schedule with stops at Merlefest, FloydFest (where they were named winner of the “On the Rise” award in 2021), Red Wing Roots, Bristol Rhythm & Roots, and several weeks on the road with Whiskey Myers supporting their Tornillo album release tour.
