Woman intentionally crashes into boyfriend’s truck

Haley Michelle Risner, 32, of Hartwell was arrested on September 28th after she intentionally crashed her SUV into her boyfriend’s pickup truck and left the scene.

According to police, the incident happened on Old Elberton Road where Risner pulled her GMC Yukon in front of her boyfriend’s Chevy Silverado and stopped, then drove in reverse and struck the pickup before driving away.

The boyfriend, a 38-year-old Winterville resident, told police that he was trying to break off his relationship with Risner and he showed angry text messages she had sent,

Risner was arrested after police contacted her at her job and she returned to the scene of the incident.

She was charged with aggressive driving and leaving the scene of an accident before being released upon posting bonds totaling $2,500,
