Alleged meth trafficker arrested at home in Stonehenge

Carlos Terrell Wise, 32, was arrested at his home in a western Athens-Clarke County subdivision following an investigation by the Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force.
Court filings show that on February 4th, when executing a search warrant at his Stonehenge Way residence, officers found 521 grams of methamphetamine, a large amount of marijuana and a .380-caliber pistol.
Wise was booked into the county jail on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He is being detained pending a March 4th bail hearing.
