A resident of Columbia Brookside apartments reported he was robbed of his gun Monday evening in a breezeway of his building, according to an Athens-Clarke County police report.
The 21-year-old victim said he thought he was going to meet with a group of males in order to hang out, according to the report, but while in the breezeway, one of the males grabbed a Glock .40-caliber pistol from his pants pocket.
During a struggle, the man said he was able to get the gun back, but one of the males stuck another gun to his head and threatened to shoot if he didn't relinquished the weapon.
After the man gave up the firearm the males ran off in an unknown direction.
The victim was unable to give descriptions of the males.
More than likely he was paid to buy the gun for the “suspects” and this was the best story he could come up with.
Don't buy drugs. If you are going to buy drugs, don't arrange to buy them off people you don't know/meet online. If you are going to buy drugs from people you don't know and met online don't bring a gun.
Good job asshole, someone is probably going to get killed with your gun because you are a moron.
Surprise surprise? Arrange a meeting online with a stranger for the purpose of just hanging out?

The 21 year old “victim“ should have been wearing a t-shirt with big bold letters saying “JACK ME!!!”
