Arrest of alleged drug trafficker yields arsenal of weapons

The following was released today by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department:

On July 22nd, 2025, the Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force, with the assistance of ACCPD and

GSP, executed a follow-up search warrant in the 700 block of Mitchell Bridge Rd.

Corby Antwan Faust, a 47-year-old male of Athens, Georgia, was arrested after a search of his residence

revealed quantities of narcotics, weapons, and U.S. currency. The charges stemmed from a previous

traffic stop investigation where the subject possessed a pistol and a kilogram of cocaine.

During the follow-up search of the apartment, officers recovered Schedule II pharmaceuticals, three

additional pistols, and an AR-style pistol. Also recovered were approximately $6,000 in U.S. currency, a ballistic vest, multiple extended magazines for various weapons, hundreds of assorted calibers ofammunition, including 410 and 12-gauge shotgun shells, and .50AE caliber pistol ammunition.

Faust was charged with Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of Schedule I-II Controlled Substance with

Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Crimes.

Is there any aspect of crime in which a Faust family member is not involved? I mean, criminal knowledge is like Faust generational wealth.
