Athens boy missing for over two weeks

Marquyse Grisson left his home on Zebulon Drive the afternoon of June 7th and he hasn’t been seen or heard from ever since.

The 13-year-old boy’s mother told police that he left after being told that he couldn’t go to the pool,

The woman is concerned because even though Marquyse has left home before he always returned on the same day.

She also told police that when a cousin saw the boy at a bus stop, Marquyse asked for a ride to Walmart so he could sell a phone.

She filed a missing person report later that same day,

An Athens-Clarke County Police Department spokesperson said that the boy had yet to be located as of late Monday afternoon,

Marquyse Donzell Grisson Jr. is African-American, 5-feet-6, 140 pounds, with black Afro hair and brown eyes,

He was last seen wearing a black Adidas shirt, black shorts, and brown Timberline boots,

Police said he might possibly have gone to the area of Parkview Homes.
