Eric Maurice Fair, 44, of Franklin Street was recently arrested while in possession of enough fentanyl to kill thousands of people.
His arrest on August 21st resulted from a police traffic stop on West Broad Street on a car in which he was a passenger.
An incident report indicates that Fair was in possession of a bag that contained the fentanyl along with cocaine, methamphetamine, and THC oil.
An arrest warrant states that the fentanyl was in two baggies that each weighed 4.5 grams.
A lethal dose is just 2 mg, meaning 9 grams contains about 4,500 lethal doses of fentanyl.
Fair was charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a controlled substance.
He is being held without bail in pretrial detention.
