A Clarke County grand jury last week indicted an Athens man on numerous counts of sexually exploiting children.
Eric Andrew Bergeson, 42, of Sunset Drive was charged with 21 counts of sexual exploitation of children for possessing digital images of minors having sex with other minors and with adults, according to the indictment that was filed June 4 in Clarke County Superior Court.
The indictment stemmed from Bergeson’s arrest in August 2018, according to court records.
He remained free on bond while awaiting his arraignment which is scheduled for July 29.
