Athens Tech welcomes new board member

Dr. Andrea D. Daniel, President of Athens Technical College, is pleased to announce that Jean Mullis has joined the Athens Technical College Board of Directors.
Jean Mullis is the Neese District Manager and oversees member experience and satisfaction in the Neese District of Jackson EMC. She focuses on strengthening employee relations and fostering growth. Mullis provides leadership and support to local civic and charitable organizations.
Ms. Mullis began her career in 1987 with Baker & Taylor Books, managing technical services and projects. She joined Jackson EMC in 1991, became the Jefferson District Director in 2007, and then was promoted to Neese District Manager in 2010.
In addition to her extensive work background, Jean holds a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Piedmont College. She also graduated from the UGA Management Development Program and the NRECA Management Internship Program.
“We are pleased to have Jean Mullis join our Board of Directors,” says President Andrea Daniel. “Ms. Mullis understands our mission of workforce developmentand is a wonderful addition to our board. She previously served on our Foundation Board of Directors where she helped increase donor giving. Ms. Mullis truly believes in Athens Technical College and workforce training in our community. I look forward to working with her again.”
Jean currently serves on the Cancer Foundation Board, the Project Safe Board, the ESP Athens Champion Board, the Madison County IDBA Board, and was formerly a board member and past-chair of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Madison County.
Athens Technical College has served citizens since 1958 by providing quality educational programs in an 11-county service area.
