Woman arrested for fleeing after causing property damage with vehicle

Erin Kathleen Blakock, 55,, was arrested early in the morning of October 25th after she caused extensive damage property damage in her own apartment complex and fled from the scene.

According to police, it was about 1:30 a.m, when Blalock drove her Ford Bronco into two vehicles and a pair of air conditioning units at Cambridge Apartments.

As she attempted to drive away a witness was able to put the SUV in park and take away the keys, police said, at which time Blalock ran into the woods behind the complex,

“The witness stated that the suspect had been out drinking “ prior to the incident, a police officer noted in a report,

He was able to later arrest Blalock upon her return to her apartment on charges og leaving the scene of an accident and and failure to report damaging from the accident,

Blalock was RFK from jail upon posting a $2,500 surety bond and she is scheduled to be arraigned on December 18th.

Court records indicate that Blalock last year was sentenced to four days in jail and six months on probation for a public intoxication conviction.
