Walmart employee assaults phone tech

Demarkwion Quavez Jordan. 18, of Jennings Mill Parkway, was arrested on the afternoon of. August 17th after he assaulted a cellphone technician at Walmart,
According to police, Jordan was an employee at Walmart who left his phone with Malik Daredia, a 44-year-old technician with iFixandRepair, which is located at the Lexington Road store.
When Jordan later went to pick up the phone his debit card payment would not go through. police said, and when he tried leaving the store with the phone, Daredia grabbed him by the arm.
Jordan reportedly responded by smacking the glasses off of the phone tech’s face and pushing him to the floor.
When police arrived at the scene they found Daredia
bleeding from a busted lip and they arrested Jordan for battery and theft of services,
He was released from jail upon posting bonds totaling $52. He is scheduled to be arraigned on October 14th.
