A Clarke County grand this week indicted an Athens man on drug trafficking charges.
Will Crawford Dean, 67, was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to the indictment filed Tuesday in Superior Court.
The charges stem from a search last month of Dean’s home on Westchester Drive that capped an investigation by the Northeast Georgia Regional Drug Task Force,
According to court records, the search yielded in excess of 227 grams of prepackaged powder and crack cocaine, oxycodone, and 74 grams of marijuana in designer packaging.
The drugs had been concealed in various ways, including in a lunchbox with false bottom, and inside a fake battery.

Dean is being held in pretrial detention, with a scheduled arraignment date of June 3rd.
