Elderly Athens woman missing for over a day

Lillie Mae Wade, a 77-year-old resident of West Hancock Avenue, has been missing since Friday evening.

The police department is asking for anyone who has seen her to immediately call 911.

Police first issued a lookout for her at 9:54 p.m. Saturday.

Ms. Wade reportedly has dementia and her last known whereabouts was said to have been on Barber Street.

She is 5’6” with short gray hair, and was last seen wearing dark blue jeans and shortsleeved blue shirt over a longsleeved gray shirt.
