Family Fun Day this Saturday at the Athens public library

ATHENS, Ga. –The Friends of Athens-Clarke County Library will host the library’s annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 31, from 10 AM to 1 PM, to celebrate the beginning of summer and kick off Summer Reading!
Come to the library for a free morning of fun for all ages! Family Fun Day will include lots of free activities presented by local Athens businesses and organizations, plus a Wildlife Critters Petting Zoo and puppet show performances!
Activities include: Wildlife Critters Petting Zoo, Sandy Creek Nature Center wildlife encounters, Athens-Clarke County Touch-A-Truck, and costumed characters from Enchanted Events. The Brella Art Truck and Kona Ice will also be on hand! These are just a few of the amazing activities that will be available for FREE at Family Fun Day!
In addition to all the great activities, attendees of Family Fun Day will be able to sign up for Summer Reading. This year’s theme is “Color Your World!” No matter your age, you can participate in Summer Reading! Reading logs and more information will be available throughout the day.
